It's time for playing with the dishes again for Tablescape Thursday. Of course last week was the holiday of all holiday for tablescapers....Thanksgiving, where it's all about the tables. I didn't get a chance to post our tables last week because all the tables were set at the last minute and pictures were taken right before we gathered. So this week I'm posting "Thanksgiving leftovers".
This was our "AARP" table - (yes, I was sitting there too)!
I found these turkey napkins at Virginia Beach this fall. Love this scene.
Our china pattern is Noritaki Stanford Court -- it's a discontinued pattern now, I'm lucky to have full place settings for 12.
Found these pretty little silver turkey candleholders 1/2 price at Marshall's (I live entirely too close to that store!)
My centerpiece was a "re-do" of my centerpiece from our anniversary celebration of the night before. Switched out the bride and groom for a pumpkin. (I've heard of the carriage turning into a pumpkin...but never the bride and groom!)
Next we have our "Gentleman's" table -- where our son, son-in-law and college guest sat.
A pheasant and feathers "off-centeredpiece".
Loved that the "other" side of the Turkey napkins had a pheasant scene. Perfect!
Next, some special Thanksgiving guests on the "Kids and Mama's" table. Maybe next year they'll graduate to just a "Kids table".
And we all know that it's the Kid's table that really rules!
A fun little trio of "leftover" turkeys.
Hope that your Thanksgiving was wonderfully blessed with family and friends, dishes and delights! Be sure to visit Susan of "Between Naps on the Porch" for all the inspiration you'll ever need for setting a beautiful table.
