I just adore Marty and when I got her invitation to the Cloche party -- well who can turn down an invitation from such a gracious hostess?
Sorry my pictures are not the best, I got home late and just took a few quick snaps. Here's my washstand -- one "foot" in summer and one "foot" in fall.
I seem to be having a difficult time letting go of this summer -- so here are a few "Fading Blooms Of Summer". Those last few always seem the more precious - since you know that there won't be more until next year.
A closer look of the roses and a lingering bee of Summer.
But my apothacary jar is full of the first fruits of fall. Apples, a pear, some turning leaves, berries and pine cones.
A closer look at my jar of Fall. So see many more cloches be sure to stroll on over to Marty's A Stroll Thru Life -- she's a doll! and the queen of cloches!
Love the bows! I especially like the silver bow...so elegant and pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi Martha! Everything is very lovely! I kinda hate to see summer go - the season and not the heat! :) We're still having the heat and it's hard to get into the Fallness mode! :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)

ReplyDeleteI love your chalkboard platter. So cute!
ReplyDeleteHi Martha!
ReplyDeleteEverything is so beautiful, but honey we have had enough of the heat here in Phoenix. I am so ready to be gone with Summer. It is 103 here today. I love the chalkboard platter, I am going to give that a try. The grandkids would love it for sure. Love your cloche with the little bee and the beautiful glass bottom. It is so gorgeous. The one with the burgundy bow is definitely Fall. I love it. Please stop by and let me share with you. Country hugs, Sherry
Oh I love the roses and the precious little bee, so pretty. Your fall fruit is also so pretty in the apothecary jar. What pretty vignettes and I really like the silver/blackboard tray. Everything is so beautiful. You are such a doll for joining the party, I have had the best time. Thank you. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHi Martha, they are so sweet. I love the bow...everything is lovely!!
ReplyDeleteBarb :-)
I know this is about cloches...but I ADORE your chalkboard!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean....I am having a hard time letting summer go too. When my DH decided to close the pool last weekend (because of so many falling leaves) I cried. Sounds silly I know but I was like he was closing up summer. I love the faded roses under the cloche. Come for a visit. ~ Lynn
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and tied up with a bow for a special touch! Summer can go right on now. It's too hot here!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
The dried roses are so pretty...I'm so like you, Martha, the only season I don't mind ending is winter!!
ReplyDeleteI love your arrangements. You did a great job with the photos too!! :-)
