Tablescape Thursday - It's Snow Romantic!
It's Tablescape Thursday again! I didn't think I was going to get to play this week because of a busy weekend schedule -- but when it started to sleet and snow this afternoon they closed the buildings at 4:30 (since we have classes from 9am to 9 pm -- I usually work until 6 on Wednesdays) and then choir practice was cancelled -- so I decided to do a last minute table -- full of snow romance!
Welcome to our snow and ice table.
A place for you!

Don't you love a smooth dip?

Let's dim the lights.......
....and let the lover's waltz begin.
Goodnight from our snowy table.

See ya!
(I forgot to take this week's picture of my paperwhite -- only one of the bulbs seems to have decided to grow -- I get another picture up next week)
Love your snowy table! It's so pretty!

Kathy
That is the cutest snowman centerpiece I've seen! It's just cheerful. So glad you got to play this week. And so IMPRESSED that you could put together such a pretty table so quickly.
ReplyDeleteI'm bowing out this week and just enjoying some inspiration.
How pretty, Martha! Love that cute snow couple. Since it has been snowing quite regularly since Cmas, the snow couple here would be arguing about who was going to go shovel the latest foot of snow! :) It gets old pretty fast!
ReplyDeleteI love how everything shines and shimmers. Just lovely!
Wow, I just love those little bow napkin rings! I wish they were mine...

Just beautiful Martha! I love those glass bowls! This past summer I got a set of 4 of the depression glass saucers you showed for only $1.00. I was so excited. I put the box in the back seat. When I went to get them out, the box slid and crashed to the pavement. All were broken! I was so crushed!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! You've reminded me that I bought some clear glass dinnerware ages ago and have not used it in FOREVER! Your tablescape is so gorgeous... I've got to get mine out and use it!
ReplyDeleteThe snow people look to be having a very romantic time!
ReplyDeleteMartha, I love your table! The crystal and silver and white look very elegant. Love your flatware and your etched stemware - really, everything is just so pretty all together.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Beth
Lovely! Your little snow people are too sweet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely Winter table you have set! This is an area I am very weak in..so I look closely at everything you do. Practice? I suppose that's the answer...but..just not too secure doing it.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, sweet friend!
Mona
This is just so magical, Martha -- Snow and Ice... lovely! I really love the centerpiece and the little tree, and those napkin holders are adorable. Beautiful tablescape, Martha!
