It's Tablescape Thursday again and this week I've set my table for a Winter's Walk in the Woods.
I hope you'll join me.
This is set just for you.
I've seen so many of you use pinecones as placecard holders this year. What a fun idea for our winter tables.
I found these pinecone candle holders this fall at one of my favorite antique/thrift stores "Thru The Garden Gate".
On our walk we may just see a rabbit.....
....or two.
A tan linen tablecloth with Nell Hill woven chargers, Target faux ivory flatware, and my snow white dishes.
Green Jamestown goblets...I've found a complete set of eight gathered over the past two years from Goodwill and thrift stores.
I can't remember where I found these green cloth napkins tucked into the handle of my chargers.....probably Tuesday Morning or Marshall's.
A tabletop overview and.....
....a centerpiece overview.
Time to light the candles and...
....walk back home.
I've been having a difficult time leaving messages on some of your posts. I don't know exactly why, but I'm working on it. Please know how very much I do appreciate your visits....even if you don't hear from me......I'll keep trying.
Thanks to Susan of "Between Naps on the Porch" for all the tabletop fun week after week.
See ya!
Just love the pinecones. Those goblets are great too! I am having lots of trouble on some blogs too!!!!

ReplyDeleteIt truly looks like winter on your table, so pretty!
I'm having the same problem with comments, and I have had a terrible time with my own blog this week. I'm hoping that it will pass. UGH.
ReplyDeleteBut in other news... this is a great table. I love the winter feeling with the evergreens and pine cones. I would love some of those pine cone candlesticks. Those are great.
I heard from you.! I don't think that it's you...I think that Blogger is having some bugs with their new formats. Lots of weird things going on this week on Blogger. I love the greens and browns with the soft creams...lovely. Thank you for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

What a super cute tablescape, Martha! It IS reminiscent of a walk in the woods. I know because I recently went hiking with a friend (SO out of character for me!!!). We were out looking for deer antlers. Didn't find any. Not sure I'll be going back. I was constantly dodging animal poop and getting stuck by weird plants. Can you tell I am NOT an outdoorsy girl? :-) I love to admire the "outdoors" on your table, though. It's perfect! Have a warm weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat table...I can feel the snow crunching under foot and smell the pine. This is so charming!
ReplyDeleteThis table makes me want to get out to walk in the woods...I can hear the snow crunching under my feet. Greens/browns/whites are great colors for winter, in my book. Love the centerpiece...I am still looking for some bottlebrush trees!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table Martha. You've captured a walk in the woods quite well!
ReplyDeleteMartha, Hope this finds you well!
ReplyDeleteI love this tablescape with brown and green and then there is the pine cones....really beautiful.
Winter Tablescape absolutely lovely. Thank you for setting a place just for me!!!
God bless and may this day be extra special,
d
I have been trying to leave you a comment for DAYS! There was some kind of glitch (I'm sure it wasn't my fault!) so I am thrilled it's working now. Your tablescape is SO pretty with the greens, browns and white! I love your forest centerpiece and pinecones! Very clever to use the placemat handles for the napkins! You even included some forest creatures! I just love it!
