Tabletop Tuesday - St. Patrick's

Today I'm joining in on the holiday tabletop fun over at Marty's "A Stroll Through Life". My tabletops are all dressed for St. Patrick's Day.

My first "tabletop" is an old washstand in the dining room. This came from my grandfather's family. They weren't Irish...but we'll just pretend.

Under the cloche we have a little Irish angel ... can't have an Irish blessing without an angel can we?

Isn't he sweet? I got him last year at an antique store -- he looks like he's just about to say something...or maybe he's singing us a little Irish ditty.

My chalk board tray wishing you the sentiments of the day.

I found these sheep a few months back. First I got one at Goodwill and then the next week I saw a matching one at a thrift store. They're made by partylites. They reminded me of sheep grazing in green Irish fields.

The apothecary jar contains a leprechaun I purchased a few weeks ago from eBay.

He's daydreaming in the shade of a little mushroom among the green....dried peas.

And you know what happens when you capture a leprechaun don't you? He has to give you his gold!

My next "tabletop" is my sideboard. I'm only showing the part decorated for St. Patrick's Day.

My Irish teapot set upon a little saucer I purchased last year from Marshall's.

A pot of "shamrocks" from the grocery store.

A framed postcard of a little cottage that looks Irish to me.

And my small collection of little cottages and a church for a wee Irish village. Be sure to visit Marty and see all the tabletops for some fun Irish inspiration.

See ya!
