Deck The Halls - Christmas 2010

This weekend was dedicated to decorating and decking the halls! So grab a cup of eggnog and I'll show you around. We'll start with our traditional tree.

Santa at the top.

Loaded with ornaments.

This year's White House Ornament.

Next a new nativity set for the mantel.

A closer look. Sorry but my house was dark so I've had to use the flash some.

What's going on over here?

A little mouse is writing to Santa.

Her stocking is hung...

...and her tree is trimmed.

A little desk with Christmas bunnies and friends on top.

A little village down below.

A collection of 47 Santas.

All shapes and sizes.

A little table in the corner.

A Christmas wreath and candle on the table in the dining room.

A closer view.

Another nativity set.

A closer view of the Holy family.

Santa and nutcrackers.

My angel tree.

Filled with churches, angels, white candles, and snowflakes.

My washstand reminds us that "Santa Claus is coming to town!"

A few years ago, when my Dad downsized, he gifted me with his Christmas village.

On to the kitchen for some refreshments and gingerbread.

A quick little trip to the powder room.

These kitchen towels set the tone!

Last we have my grandmother's Bible opened to the story of the birth of Jesus from the Gospel of Luke -- The most wonderful message of Christmas there is.

Sure enjoyed having you stop by for a visit and I hope you enjoyed the tour.

See ya!
