Roos around the house

I'm joining Shelia over at "Note Songs" for her Heart of The Home blog party -- all about the yard birds as she calls them. First up are my vintage salt & pepper roos (or perhaps hens).

Next is my pair of pot holder roos.

My wooden window roo is watching for the first light of dawn so he can wake up the household. Along with a little chick in training.

Here's my big boy roo -- he stands about 2 1/2 feet tall and is bigger than my dogs.

My laundry roo and hen.

Hand painted handsome guy.

Miss sittin' pretty.

Mr. Yankee Doodle Roo.

You've heard of Spring chicks.....well they certainly need a Spring roo!

How about a plate of roo?

Table top roos. You can see some roos on my wallpaper border too. (One of these days I'm getting rid of that -- it's been on my list since we moved in....almost 19 years ago *sigh*)

A little pitcher roo perfect for breakfast juice.

Mr. Spunkyroo -- he just looks like a dog -- but he's really a rooster in disguise waking me up each morning when the sun comes up.

Looking forward to seeing all the roosters, chicks and hens over at Note Songs. Thanks for a fun event Shelia!

I'm also joining the ever sweet Marty at "Tabletop Tuesday" on A Stroll thru Life --- these roos are not all on the table....but you know how those Roosters and hens are....just everywhere!
