It's that wonderful time each week that Susan of "Between Naps On The Porch" invites everyone in blogland to dress their tables and share! I'm amazed week after week at all the lovely tablesettings out there. This week's sure to bring out the red, white and blue all across blogland. I know I'm ready! I love the 4th of July because it's a birthday party for each and every one of us in the USA. Old or young. Rich or poor. City or country -- we're all celebrating this great country.
Here we are approaching our patriotic table.
There's a whole lot of red, white and blue going on in this tablescape.
In the very center of it all we have Lady Liberty herself.
My old coffee pot serving up daisies and old glory.
Some of you are celebrating in big cities (like the most famous city in the USA - New York, New York). I found this metal statue of Liberty at a thrift shop last month.
Some are celebrating down on the farm. I've had this patriotic rooster for years.
A paper red and white checked napkin in each glass.
A navy cloth napkin embroidered with a star at each place setting.
My red salad plate and my white dinner/charger plate.
This square red, white and blue plate will be perfect for corn on the cob.
Another look at our 4th of July tablescape.
A final look by candlelight.
We're feeling especially grateful for our newest granddaughter celebrating her very first holiday! We were so blessed with a healthy child, after months of uncertainty with a difficult pregnancy and having been told that she would very likly have Down's Syndrome. We have been truly blessed and aware of how often we take for granted the miracle of healthy children.
Happy 4th everyone! Be sure to check out all the other tablescapes across blogland --
See ya!

You have a darling table and it looks like a page in a magazine. The coffee pot, lady liberty and the rooster say Americana. Just love it all.
ReplyDeleteI came back by to mention that I am hosting a Christmas in July Tablescape Party at my Playing Dishes blog. There will be one held each Saturday this month. Please come and participate or at least visit. A holiday tablecloth will be given away on the last Saturday, July 25. Info on signups is available by clicking my sidebar memes available on both my blogs.
ReplyDeleteI am also having a weekly Christmas giveaway at my Christmas Memories in My Heart blog. Weekly entries are closed out a midnight on Wednesday for this.
Hopefully some of you tablescape regulars will pull together a tablescape for CIJ or pull out some photos from last year to post.
