Tablescape Thursday - Autumn Angel and Fifi Art

I just love Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan of "Between Naps On The Porch" -- I always drooled over the shots in magazines of beautifully set tables and now I get to see beautiful tables set by people I've come to know and admire here in blogland. I've enjoyed being invited into so many homes week after week. This week I thought I would set a bit more subdued Fall table.

Here we are approaching the fall table with mostly the brown, cream and bronze colors of fall.

Now that we're off daylight savings time - I'm not getting quite as good natural lighting. Here's a little bit of candle glow.

Have you seen these little mercury glass tea light cups at Target for 99 cents?

A closer shot of my centerpiece -- the Angel or cherub of Autumn.

Isn't he sweet? I found him a few weeks ago at Good Will.

I know he's an Autumn angel because he's gathering acorns!

A few acorns and leaves adorn his stool.

A side view of our little angel or would you call him a cherub?

See his little heavenly wings?

Little angel buns among the gathering of autumn pumpkins, acorns, pinecones and magnolia cones.

My gold rimmed lead crystal glasses -- however the gold is becoming tinged with a strange purple -- is there a way to fix this?

A closer view of a place setting. Silverware was given to us by my mother-in-law. First we have cream soup bowls I found on eBay about three years ago.

Next we have napkins that came from Tuesday morning this Summer.

This is the china I picked out years ago. I still love it!

This crocheted table covering is very much like one my grandmother had on her dining room table. A friend gave me this one for my birthday years ago.

An overview of my Fall tablescape.

A heavenly look at my angel centerpiece.

Glowing Fall tablescape.

I ordered these tablescaped note cards from Fifi Flowers. Wouldn't they make great stocking stuffers. A couple I can identify -- but most I don't remember who was the tablescape creator -- if it's your tablescape -- please let me know -- I want to identify them on the back.

I remember Susan's St. Patricks Day tablescape.

Is this your tablescape?

or this?

I remember Gollums breakfast on the porch.

Was this you?

For many more "artistic" and inspiring tablescapes, be sure to visit Susan at "Between Naps On The Porch" this week.

See ya!

  5. I don't like the time change either. Your table looks beautiful. I love the napkins. I also wanted to tell you I linked your corn bread recipe in my tablescape (it isn't posted yet). It was delcious and so rich. Of course we won't talk about the calories that must be in it. I ended up freezing half the recipe. I think it will be good for breakfast with maple syrup...what do you think?

I'm looking forward to flying to Seattle on Saturday so that I can get my home there ready for Thanksgiving and have some fun with table settings. I don't have anything this week as I'm busy getting ready to be gone from my sweet little condo in Southern California for a full 6 weeks!!
