I'm really late with my Easter "fluffing" this year! I was still enjoying my St. Patrick's decor - thinking I would leave it out all of March, when I realized that once it becomes April -- Easter is HERE! So time for a change. I figured I would join Marty in "Tabletop Tuesday" with a bit of Bunny Love.
Starting out with my little half round table between the windows in the dining room.
Looks like it's become an indoor garden and these bunnies are enjoying a feast!
I got these bunnies at Marshalls last year right before Easter. I've changed their bows according to the season several times over the year.
This little guy looks like he's ready for his carrot and cabbage supper.
Rabbit food!
Looks like a little Spring fluffing on the sideboard as well.
I found this Department 56 bunny at Goodwill a few weeks ago -- I filled his cabbage with some eggs I had from last year (Marshall's).
This little chick has a lot of personality! I found him at a thrift store and the eggs came from Tuesday Morning -- I got the cheese dome from Goodwill about a month ago. They're all set on glass salad plate atop a pilar candle stick.
More eggs from last year in my apothecary jar. Pink and green bows from my ribbon stash and green/yellow Easter shred came from the dollar store.
A closer look at the eggs.
A framed antique Easter postcard.
Cute little Easter chick!
Little chinese bunny (Made in China) found at Goodwill a couple of weeks after the 1st one. I was amazed at how well they matched.
A little nest of eggs in my sugar scuttle.
Just a little Easter/Spring fluffing on my tabletops this week. Be sure to visit Marty at
"A Stroll Through Life" and see all the "fluffing" going on across blogland. Thanks Marty for giving us so much tabletop inspiration.
See ya!
Your displays are all so pretty! Sweet, sweet bunnies, and lovely eggs. We're still decorating over here! Your tables are an inspiration.

Love all your bunnies - you have a great collection! I can't believe you got such cute things at the Thrift Store! I really like your bunnies with the bows and how you put the carrots beside them - perfect!

Oh Martha...I just got 4 new ideas from seeing your cute post! Hope you don't mind if I *benchmark* them. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have to put out the Irish stuff on March 1st...that way, by the time the 17th rolls around, you're sick of it & ready to start on Easter. LOL
I see "OUR" coffee carafe in the background. Bill at AA has the same one, too. He served OJ in his! I just might do that for Easter morning.
May you have a Blessed & Happy Easter!
fondly,
Rett
These are wonderful Easter vignettes. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour sideboard is gorgeous! I was so glad that you included closeups of the different items, because I wanted to study it more closely. And those two bunnies in the first pics are wonderful -- what a find!

Martha,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your cabbage and carrots! How darling! Thanks for stopping by Applejack Lane. Have a wonderful Easter!
I've been so busy visiting all the wonderful blogs I'm discovering and enjoying all the decorations that I haven't had time to decorate myself. Does post-holiday decoration blogging count?
ReplyDeleteI'm also enjoying finding folks from my native Virginia. I'm originally from Roanoke and am back every October to enjoy autumn.
I'll be back to "visit".
Best,
Bonnie
Wow, Martha - everything looks so beautiful and detailed... The table is gorgeous as well as the sideboard. All the little details! But my FAVORITES are those little Beatrix Potter figurines - oh my goodness, how precious! You were so lucky to find them! Really, everything looks so pretty.
