Good-bye July!

I've always loved the 4th of July....it's my next to favorite holiday (right after Thanksgiving). It seems such a shame to take down the red, white and blue on the 5th of July......

.....so I just leave it up all month.

I've been told that I was born a week before my "due date" and my birthday is June 27th......exactly one week before....

....the birthday of the U.S.A!

.....yes, indeed......

.....I could have been.....

....a "Yankee Doodle Gal!"

.....well, it's all packed up in the tub to go in the storage shed.....

.....until next year when we do it all again! Good-bye July.....

See ya!

  3. Hello:
What a wonderful display for your 4th. July celebrations. We can well understand why you feel a little sad when it comes to packing everything away for another year. But then it is there to be looked forward to.

Thank you so much for leaving a comment on our latest post to which we have made reply. We shall hope to welcome you again.

  6. July always seems to go fast for me.

I think August is one of my least favorite months. It is usually hot and humid.

Oh well... that will give me a reason to stay inside and work on projects and blog!

I am hosting my first blog party the "Bunny Hop". It is a showcase for new bloggers to gain exposure and followers. You are invited!

I just became a follower, again. It said you had no followers and I know that was not right... cause I just came here via my reader. Something is goofy with google!

  7. I LOVE the 4th or any holiday that lets me yell hurrah for our country and I keep out my red, white and blue the entire month of July as well! Actually my outside flag displays are out from memorial day right thru to labor day.
I sure love the metal statue of Liberty! Thanks for sharing Martha! (ps, finally really back, my computer was not letting me post- got it fixed!)

  11. Your're so cute. I love the 4th of July too and your patriotic displays are darling. The beach basket is really pretty with the shore bird and shells. Now that July has gone, how do you decorate for August? With and ice cold beverage and a fan?
    I'm ready for fall,
