Oh well, this was how it was SUPPOSED to go: Plan A: Today is our daughter's birthday. We were going to take her and her girls to Williamsburg (where her husband works) - walk around a little, eat lunch at one of the colonial taverns and come home. Have our traditional St. Patrick's dinner on Monday night because I work late on Tuesday nights. Then the weather didn't cooperate. It turned cold and rainy -- not a good day for walking outside. So on to Plan B: We were going to have our traditional St. patrick's dinner tonight and celebrate her birthday. So hubby cooked the corned beef brisket last night, I got up early and got the present, the cake, the candles - the extras (can't mention just in case daughter reads this) only to come home and find husband in bed with a stomach bug. So now we're at Plan C: Traditional St. Patrick's dinner AND Birthday celebration on Monday night. (I hope everything "keeps" and I don't get sick!) Right now, there is no Plan D!
Today is our daughters 27th birthday. I'm remembering that Kodak commercial from when I was a child that went something like this: I'm not positive of the words - Maybe Sheila at Note Songs can help me out.
"Where are you going my little one, little one? Where are you going my baby, my own? Turn around and you're two, turn around and you're four, turn around and you're a young girl going out of the door. Turn around, turn around, turn around and you're a young bride, with babes of your own!" Do you remember that commercial? (even if I don't have the words right?)
Happy Birthday dear Katy! We love you!
Well it looks like today was the day beautiful baby girls were born!!! Happy Birthday Katy...you and my Lindsey share the day...and I hope you both have the best birthday ever!
